The service indicator on your VW Golf is designed to alert you when it is time for routine maintenance, such as an oil change or tire rotation. By resetting the indicator after each service appointment, you ensure that it accurately reflects when your next scheduled maintenance should be performed. Turn the ignition on (do not start the engine) and release the 0,0 button. Briefly, press the double square button (located to the left of the instrument cluster). Turn the ignition off, turn it back on and go back to the ”oil life” menu to verify the indicator has been reset. DONE!!!:D if you have just serviced your Volkswagen golf MK8 and the inspection and oil change light is on it can be reset simply and quickly following this simple guide. this is aplicable to all MK8 vw KKq2CL.
