I purchased a laptop" Acer aspire 5 i7" from Emax- UAE on January 2021, I am having an issue with it, i tried to turn on this morning, but it's all black screen although the pc is on ( the fan is working) I tried many solutions, including (startup repair, comman prompt, resetting the laptop..) but it was useless.
Ihave just purchased an Acer Aspire TC-885 (Core i5 with 16GB Intel Optane Memory, Intel UHD Graphics 630, Windows 10 Home) and a Lenovo L24q_10 24" monitor (resolution 2560 x 1440). When I first connected it up and turned it on the monitor was just blank and it went into power saving mode (implying that there was no video signal coming from the Whetherit be an entire blank wall or a huge projector screen, there is no problem displaying your content to an audience, whether you have a casual meeting of 10 or a large formal conference of 500. A larger display also implies an unparalleled visual experience for the meeting room.

Hi@mianders, Try to do power drain, 1. Shutdown the unit. 2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit. 3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds. Ihave an Acer Aspire 7720G that shuts down 10 seconds after powering ON. Fan spins for half the time, screen is blank - NO ACER LOGO. I have checked every hardware possible. I even changed the CMOS Battery. Now I am suspecting the processor is faulty. It could be the BIOS Chip also. Please help as I can't afford a new motherboard or a laptop 1 Laptop screen doesn't come on. The other led lights come on as usual, and the fan blows, but the screen remains blank. I've tried connecting to an external monitor, but no show. 2. I tried flashing bios as a solution, but the files in the bios zip don't correspond with the tutorials online; no 3. Anyhelp would be gratefully received. Restore to an earlier date, type restore in Windows Search and click on "Create a restore point" then click on "System Restore" and choose a date before you had these screen problems. Beforeanswering, try doing a power reset and see if it works! Do as follows: unplug the notebook from the power, unplug the battery and press the power button for thirty seconds and then turn it on again and try it!
