I have a 2014 jeep Cherokee latitude that recently threw up a low battery on the display. I replace the battery thinking it would definitely take care of the problem but it did not. When I turned the key fob, all the lights come on and I hear a click, also when I go to the messages, it says low battery the only thing I have found so far but
The circular marks are presumably caused by the impeller somehow hitting the front side of the engine (engine side cavity "front"). Seems odd, like the impeller somehow moved backwards on the shaft till it started rubbing on the cavity. Remove the old pump. Clean up the surface so the new seal will seal up.
Battery location new GCL ecodiesel. I'm new to Jeep's but for the life of me can't understand the reason to put the battery inside the cab of my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee under the passenger seat. I've been a mechanic and have seen a battery cooking and smoking a terrible rotten egg sulfur smell that will fill an entire work shop.

Turning off and restarting the motor turns the lights off, and the battery voltage is a bit higher, back in the mid to high 13's. It honestly seems to happen only in the hot months when the ambient air temp is in the 80’s or higher. In the fall and winter months, or when the summer months are rainy and cool, it doesn’t see to occur. Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum. I recently have been having trouble with my 2017 jeep grand cherokee limited 4x4. It started with erratic battery voltage indicated on my dash. Sometime it would read 14v, 13.6, and now 12.7. And now my ESS won't work and it gave me the warning to "stop safely, engine will turn off soon". DqSBwq.
