Irecently installed my Acrobat X Pro copy on my new Windows PC. After several times of using it, a window started popping up upon each use, saying that the serial number is invalid for Acrobat Pro (and a count-down for buying the product within 30 days).
Wherecan I purchase (and not subscribe to) Adobe Acrobat 9 PRO (or 10, or 11) with a permanent license for desktop? i.e. one-time purchase, no online version, no subscription, no "DC" version. On my old laptop I have Adobe Acrobat 9 PRO Version 9.5.5 which I unfortunately cannot transfer to my new laptop due to loosing the serial number /

Makesure you are connected to the internet. Launch a regular CS6 product other than Acrobat or Flash Builder (for example: Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign, Flash Professional, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.) Click on Help->Deactivate . Deactivate the application. Quit application.
AcrobatX is an old and unsupported version, and is not officially compatible with any current OS. To increase the chances of it working properly make sure you have all updates installed (up to 10.1.16) and run it in Compatibility
