What age / build date of 1.5 TSI,. GPF or no GPF. The VW 504 00/ 507 so if 5 w 30 FS III is fine but for the 1 5TSI with GPF Skoda recommend VW 508 00/ 509 00. That is 0w 20 FS IV. Fuchs bought over an oil supplier that operated in UK as Silkolene - Silkolene used to target heavy and agricultural plant and used the outline of Concorde in flight as their brand mark - very futuristic for the late 1960's.

My son recently bought a Fabia 1.4 mpi petrol. On checking his coolant I found that it was contaminated with oil. Is it possible to attempt to flush out system and replace coolant at home or must it be garage time. also is it OK to drive the car for any length of time. cheers John.

A few days after i bought it i did, wel i paid someone (it's my first car) to do the oil change, the air filtrer and the oil filter. The recomended oil was , Mobil Super 3000 X1 5w40 full syntethic. The car was in his 156 000 km.
